When Sara and Tilo first approached us to capture their wedding day at The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina – our answer was a resounding YES. They are planning a gorgeous wedding in May of 2024 at The Biltmore Inn and Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
Over the next several conversations we had with them regarding their engagement session, they began to explore the idea of having us come to The Biltmore to capture their pre-wedding session. And again, our answer was an enthusiastic YES.
We love to travel in our RV, honestly, that’s one the biggest reasons we invested in our “Magic Bus.” Further, we love the smoky mountains and I (Stacy) had never been to The Biltmore Estate, let alone had the privilege of capturing a wedding or session there.
The Biltmore Estate is a National Historic Landmark, and it’s easy to see why. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, with lush greenery and unique architecture that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Asheville is known for its lush gardens, grand fountains and expansive outdoor spaces. The Biltmore Estate has all three of these features in spades.
Sara and Tilo had two unique wardrobe looks for their session, as comes with all engagement photo shoots with Garry and I. The first was a classic, elegant feel with Tilo in his Class A Air-force uniform. The second was a long flowing floral dress with green tones that made for a hopelessly romantic feel to the second set of shots. Oh, and don’t forget the bubbly! Compliments of The Biltmore Estate vineyard and winery, of course.
