“First Touch” between bride and groom

• First Touch Wedding Photos •

A beautiful moment in your wedding timeline that means so much.

Most of us who are familiar with wedding planning and day-of coordinating know of the special “first look” This is where a bride and groom see one another before the actual ceremony for the first time and share a first look of one another on their big day.

In our 10 years of experience as wedding photographers we have witness hundreds of these incredibly special moments. There is an alternative to the first look and that is called a “first touch.” This simply means the bride and groom are near one another but don’t actually see each other. It gives you and your soon-to-be-spouse a chance to connect in the quiet intimate moment all the while saving the first look for the aisle.

We witnessed one of these special first touches with Lindsey and Dorian, a couple so in love while shooting their wedding in Clearwater, Florida. Here is the story of the “first touch” as it unfolded in pictures. The said a prayer for each other and received a blessing from their wedding officiant. It was goosebumps for everyone!
